Finance Calculators is a small collection of free tools for everyday money questions, built to show the full picture instead of a single number.
Most online calculators give you one monthly figure and stop. That hides the interesting part: how much of each payment is interest, when PMI drops off, or how a refinance with a lower payment can still cost more over its lifetime. Every calculator here includes charts, year-by-year schedules, and plain-English callouts so you can see what is actually happening to your money.
Each page shows the exact formula it uses, from the standard amortization formula for loans to the compound interest formula for savings growth. Everything is computed instantly in your browser with JavaScript; no data leaves your device. Default values are chosen to reflect US national averages and are labeled with their date (for example, the mortgage calculator's default rate reflects October 2026 averages). Markets move, so always enter your own quoted rate for real decisions.
These calculators provide educational estimates only. They are not financial, tax, or legal advice, and they cannot account for your full financial situation. Actual loan terms depend on your lender and credit profile; actual investment returns vary with markets and fees. For decisions with lasting consequences, talk to a licensed financial adviser or tax professional.
